Designed for warm weather, our men's Mechanics Cap is made from a cotton-linen blend. Inspired by the caps worn by mechanics and flight crew in the US Air Force in WW2, this is a hard-wearing baseball cap. The original cap was intended as a shield from the sun for the mechanics' as they prepared for take-off, but due to the functional design, was worn by many other parts of the Air Force.
Made from a blend of cotton and linen with a contrast of natural and dyed yarn, which gives the hat a slightly textured look, not dissimilar to chambray cotton.
