A close personal friend of the owner, Amelia Durie of @ameliadurie_studio on instagram is an independent artist and illustrator living and working locally to Richmond. 

Since graduating from Wimbledon College of Art with an honours degree in Fine Art (painting) in 2014, she has been working on a variety of creative projects from her studio. 

Amelia’s work is inspired by everyday encounters with wildlife, pets and flora as well as an interest and appreciation for the beauty and unique quality of the human form.

Her graceful nudes celebrate the raw and un-edited female body and offer an elegant and minimalistic homage to its natural beauty.

Her romantic watercolours offer sweet and whimsical depictions of lovable animal characters and delicate flora that perfectly embody the everyday charm of the natural world. These are available as greeting cards but also artworks.

She uses a variety of media but specialises in Indian ink and watercolour.

The illustrations sold at Curated Woman are original artworks and not prints.
