Influenced by a number of archive sweaters from the 1970s, the Embroidered Arrow Crew in Navy has been cut slightly longer through the body. This relaxed fit is often a feature of jersey pieces dating around this period, as the fabric would stretch over time due to the direction in which it was cut.
The Embroidered Arrow Crew features a full flat-lock stitch construction originally designed to add extra strength at the seams when worn during contact sports. Other details include raglan sleeves, neck strengthening V insert and embroidered "broad arrow".
Made using 100% organic cotton, the 420grm loopback jersey has been specially developed to replicate the look and feel of classic American sportswear of the 1950s.
In order to achieve a desired aged look, each garment has undergone a unique pigment dying process in which fading of colour and a dry handle is part of the aesthetic. Further fading will occur through wear and washing.
